Despite its reputation around the world as a tree, pancakes are the perfect breakfast food. And 'the condiments and fillings, have turned into fat-generators. Take the butter, milk, sugar, eggs, butter, cream, cream, syrup and jams, and there is nothing left but a perfect balance of proteins, carbohydrates and fats.

So forget the frozen waffles, toaster strudelStix and French toast. Mix the cake flour, baking soda and water and cook the kids some pancakes. It takes only minutes. While cooking, make a syrup new batch. They all love it, and go with the school meets all straight, slow-burning energy they need actively and attentively throughout the morning.
